about

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me.

I am a clinical hypnotherapist, counsellor, psychotherapist, artist and teacher.

I find people and their life stories fascinating and I am particularly interested in the connection between the mind, body and spirit, which I explore within my artwork @susanhillartist and is part of the reason that I was drawn to hypnotherapy. I aim to hold a safe and caring space for clients and to empower them to help and heal themselves.

Growing up in a family of unusual characters made for a colourful childhood. I have always been an independent, creative thinker and coupled with my colourful family, I know how it feels to be seen as different. In adulthood I am learning to embrace this difference while trying to live with authenticity and integrity.

I have gained a BA (Visual Arts) in Glass and Photomedia from Canberra School of Art, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Greenwich, UK, an MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster, UK and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, from The West Australian Training College of Hypnotherapy (WATCH).

I studied clinical hypnotherapy, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and psychotherapy at WATCH, under the highly respected Clinical Hypnotherapist, Couples Counsellor and Sexologist, Emma Stewart of Stewart Therapies, Perth, Western Australia. I have also studied reiki and I was selected to undertaken a 6 month group mentorship with renown Shaman and Spiritual Teacher Natalie Seigne, who now resides in Queensland.
